- "We're here, Kiro," I informed him as we arrived in our Barangay.
- "You still have to walk from here to get to our home. Your car won't fit in the driveway; it's a closed area," I explained, trying to manage his expectations. Kiro nodded understandingly, and as he got out of the car to check on Mother in the backseat, I followed suit and joined him.
