Chapter 4

• "Clean this things up" I gave them the instructions,they know what to do. I walked out,Peter followed suit. Leaving the other guys to carry out my instruction.
• "Don't worry Jared,we'll definitely get a hold of the fucker before he carries out whatever his plans are" Peter reassured. He knows I am so pissed for not getting the information I need from the guy. Peter has been my best buddy since I was 8 till now, his father used to work for my father as a driver. We met when Peter followed his dad to our house. He is one person who knows me better, that's why he is my best buddy.
• "Yea Peter,I will make sure of that,he is a threat to me and I don't let go of any perceived threats. Petrov's return means something is about to happen,i will need to be on the watch out cause the Russian Mafia is very deadly i can't let them carry out their plans".
• "Yea man we will but for now don't you think we should go chill out somewhere. I can see you are stressed out maybe let's go to S and B tonight,i could arrange some bitches for you" Peter suggested. Well I don't think it is a bad idea anyway.
• "Yea I think it's okay,it's been a long time since I visited that place but first i need to freshen up at home" I told him. Moving to the car I came with.
• "Ok me too. I'll meet you when I am done" I replied and also entered his own car.
• My little sister ran to me immediately when she saw me. I carried her up then turned her around,she laughed happily. She loves it when I carry her that way.
• "Son....how are you doing today?" Mum asked. I went to her and hugged her.
• "Am fine mum,today has been stressful tho. What about you,hope Leila didn't stress you? I asked her. Making a quick check round her body. She smiled.
• "No Jared. Leila was a good girl today. She heard you'll be leaving today that's why she's being good,so you can go along with her" mum replied. I looked at Leila,she threw her face to the other side. I smiled at my 12 years old sister's behaviour. Funny girl.
• "Leila" I called her. " Don't worry okay,one day I'll take you to go stay with me. For now i have lots of work and you might get bored over there cause there will be no one to keep you company" I explained to her in a calm voice. She pouted her lips,and I smiled once again.
• "But Jared you don't need to worry about me. Am a big girl now,i can take care of myself when you are not around" She pressured. Hah!!! This girl just won't let me go in and rest before the party.
• "You can visit me anytime,my house isn't far from here Leila but if I stay,that will be when I find someone who'll be keeping you company okay? She nodded her head grudgingly. She'll come around anyway. She just doesn't understand,i would have let her follow me home but with this new development now i can't risk endangering her life. She's safer here with my parents and the tight security systems here than in my house where weapons and plans are made. I just don't want her to get entangled with the mafian stuffs at this her little age. Forcing her to learn how to fight is enough,she's too little to understand what we are protecting her from.
• "Mum please i need to go upstairs and rest,i will be going somewhere later in the night,see you later. Leila don't worry okay" I pecked her cheeks,ruffled Leila's head who protested in return. I ruffled it anyway.
• "Okay take care too. Leila come let's go inside and play" She replied. Leila jumped happily then ran inside. I and mum laughed at her childish behaviour before mum followed her inside.
• My name is Jared Hudson,the only heir to the Hudson's empire and also the new don of the American Mafia. Am very ruthless and I don't think I have a heart except when it comes to my family though. I hate traitors and that's why I don't take it lightly on them. I also hate being disrespected and disrespectfulness makes someone a traitor. My father Greg Hudson,used to be the don until he handed over the leadership to me. I've been doing well so far because I have managed to put everyone into fear. No one dares me because they are fools who can't bear the consequences. Am not the relationship kind of guy because i see it as signs of weakness and I am not weak. That's why i only do one night stands don't need more responsibilities than the ones i have already. My mum is a strong woman and that's why she has been able to put up with my father all these years,and that's why my father loves her. My sister Leila might be little but she is not a weak vessel,as little as she is,she could fight. I made sure she attends fighting lessons so she can grow up to be able to defend herself when need arises.
• The American mafia empire,is one of the most feared empire in the world because they know how dangerous i am,that's why am surprised that Petrov will have the guts to return back to this place and that's why i will look into his matter as soon as possible,so as to avoid any further complications.
• "Peter,am done, come pick me up" I spoke to Peter on the phone. I finished dressing some time ago and I've been waiting for him to come over like he said he would,but then I didn't see him so I decided to call him.
• "Okay i will be there soon" He replied. I hung up the call. S and B better be better tonight cause I'm so stressed out and I need something to relax my nerves.
