Chapter 6
- "Hi, Allison! Aren't you going to eat lunch with your bestfriend?"
- I looked at the girl sitting behind me when she took my attention by tapping my back. She was with her other friends and I know her. Definitely, since she's the only one who has the guts to be one of Cherry's enemy.
- She's also a famous one and both of them has a bad reputation to many students. Aside from being pretty and rich, they're more like the mean girls of the whole university.
- "Uhm, yes. He'll pick me up later." I shyly replied, not sure if I should give her an eye contact.
- Zion didn't attend our class because he has an emergency at his company, though he texted me that we'll both have lunch once my class ended.
- I heard their small giggles from the back so I hadn't restrain myself from looking at their side. The girl, Irish, the one who called me, already stood up from her and slowly walking her way to my side.
- I gulp and try to set aside the nervousness I was feeling.
- Please, not now. I don't have Zion beside me.
- I yelped on my mind, hoping that they wouldn't do anything to embarrass or hurt me in front our block mates.
- "Well, would you mind if you come with us for lunch?" She asked nicely and it actually lessened my fear. Though I thought of Zion, if I won't eat lunch with him then he probably won't eat.
- I give her a sincere smile, causing her to stilled but still arch a brow at me. "Uhm, I would love to. But I'm already going out with Zion. He said he'll fetch me up later—"
- "Why don't you go with my friends for lunch, then I'll go with Zion? Hmm? Don't you think it's a good idea?"
- It wasn't. I said to myself. Even how much I want to make new friends with them I don't think her idea was good. I don't want her to be with Zion. Just the thought of Zion going out with other girls was already boiling my system.
- I haven't felt it this way but when I started feeling weird of myself I'm accidentally seeing a lot of changes. From my physical appearance to my emotional side.
- "I will go with Zion." I catched her eyes and my eyes quickly widen when she pulled my hair with a lot of force, taking the attention of students near us. "W-Why are you hurting me? I haven't done anything to you." I sobbed when I felt her hand gripping my hair tightly.
- I feel like my scalp is ready to leave my head because of her tight hold. She opened her mouth and was about to say something when someone quickly pushed her aside, but not enough for her to be hurt.
- "What do you think you're doing, Irish." Edmond, one of student model of the university stood up in front of me. His eyes were so serious and his lips thinned as if he was resisting himself from hurting a girl. "I already told you to stop this kind of bullshits, didn't I?"
- He scolded her like he has the rights and I saw how embarrassment cross Irish's face. It didn't took long before she gave me an angry look, piercing her eyes at me, making me hide behind Edmond.
- "You don't tell me what I do." Irish coldly reply and went out of the classroom together with her friends. Small whispers from other students filled the room.
- I even heard someone saying that Irish almost had all boys on her bed. That she's a slut and she would do everything to have a way on other boy's.
- "I won't be surprised if Zion will be her next target." Said one of the students and continue it with a laughter, taking Edmonds attention.
- He looked at those students who has been saying dirty stuffs to Irish. He's eyes almost reddening in too much anger but he didn't even say anything. Instead, he gaze at me and offer me a nod and smile before he went out of the room without saying anything.
- My attention was taken aback when my phone started beeping. I totally forgot about my tears so I hurriedly wipe it before looking at the sender of the message. It was Zion.
- My heart leaped a bit and excitedly opened the message only to pout because of what's inside. He said he won't be able to fetch me because their meeting isn't over yet. He also ordered me a lunch and someone will send it here in no time.
- All my excitement and jolliness immediately faded as I sat back on my chair. I waited until all of the students left the room and after more minutes, I was the only one inside.
- My phone beeped again and it was a message from an unknown number, saying that the food Zion asked to be delivered was already outside my building and that it's ready for pick up. I rolled my eyes while forcing myself not to cry and replied to the delivery guy.
- I told him to deliver it to Zion's company because I don't need it. He didn't need to be told twice and asked for the company's address. After I took care of it and repeatedly read Zion's last message, my lips instantly tug downward and seconds later I was already crying.
- I had to rest my head on the table so I can force myself to sleep. I had curse Zion a lot of times over my head but I would eventually cry at the thought that I'm being mean to him.
- Those changes were slowly creeping me out. I don't have any clue what was happening to me and I just really hope that I don't have any psychological abnormalities. My phone kept on ringing as I saw Zion's name on the caller ID. I pouted my lips and let it ring until it ended. Call after call from Zion, the ringing never stops and it's slowly irritating me so I reject his call and turn my phone on an airplane mode.
- I laid my back on the back rest of the chair and cross my arms on in front of my chest. I didn't know how long I have been in that position and was just bring out from my reverie when a tall and lean man came along the classroom.
- His forehead was sweating bullets and he was catching his breath as he surveyed his eyes, until he met mine. Zion. I didn't utter what's been running in my head.
- "Allison..." He kind of breath calmly as soon as he saw me. His eyes glittered in worries that he need to let out one more huff before he walk towards my direction. "Babe..." He called out again when I didn't give him any response. "I'm sorry."
- He let out a quiet sigh and sit on the chair beside me. I acted like I didn't see him but my full attention was definitely at him. Waiting for his next words but nothing came out. He just took my hand and intertwined my fingers with him. He rested his head on the table like what I did earlier and just stared at me like I'm the most precious and delicate person he has even looked at.
- "Stop staring at me." My voice was still soft even if I was angry, well, I feel like I was angry. He promised me that he'll eat lunch with me, we never ever broke out promises with each other and he would always give time just to do his promises.
- Maybe it's just a matter of fact that we are both getting busy with each other's life. We were both getting older and soon he would start dating other girls. He wouldn't have time for me because he will prioritize her. We wouldn't be able to do what we are always doing because it would be cheating, I don't want him to sin just because I need to be pleased.
- My own thoughts was clouding my mind and it almost took me to a breakdown. I started crying like I was a kid and Zion quickly jolted in surprise with my reaction.
- "Babe. Hey, Allison, it's okay. I'm here, babe. Shh, I'm here." He rubbed my back and tried his best to stop me from crying. I hugged him back a little tighter that I can almost hear his groan. "Babe, you're suffocating me..." He groaned and my sobs became louder.
- "You don't want my hugs anymore?" My lips quiver and let go of him so I can get off the room. I feel like I doesn't want to be with him right now so I decided to leave.
- "Babe, no. Come here," he tried to catch my hands but he glared at him and hastily took all my things with me. I walk fastly towards the door, he was following me from behind. "Allison, come on. Don't be too immature."
- I stopped from my tracks when I heard his tired sigh, he seems to be restless this past few days yet he was still here, taking all my tantrums and bratness.
- I have to look up the ceiling enable to avoid my tears from falling. I felt him walk behind me and seconds later he was already hugging me from the back. His face was nozzled on my shoulder and neck as he started to apologize.
- "I'm sorry..." He kissed the sensitive skin on my neck and lick it afterwards, making me groan. "Let's go eat some lunch first." His other hand slid on me sensitivity and cup it through the thick fabric of my jeans. "But I rather eat you."
- I tap his hands away from me and face him with a pouting lips, my tears were still covering my face and he was the one who get rid of them before kissing me wildly on the lips. He pushed me towards the wall behind the main door and slips his hands, entering my shirt and playing with my globes.
- "Zion, I'm hungry." I groaned with a shakey voice. He immediately stopped and lastly planted a kiss on my forehead before we both went off the campus.
- He took me to a luxurious restaurant, mostly where the high end people have their meals. My parents used to go here with us but I hate it here so much. The foods are too expensive yet the foods are of one spoon servings.
- I rolled my eyes and was about to pull Zion out of their when I saw a waiter carrying a steak to someone's table. My mouth quickly salivate at it's sight and my plan of leaving the place instantly changed.
- "I want a steak." I requested as a personnel guide us to our table that Zion has booked. "And I also want a fruit juice, the pineapple one." I hang unto Zion's arm like a lost kid and I suddenly felt out of place when I saw some eyes staring at me.
- Probably because I'm underdressed. Most people here are wearing tuxedo or branded clothing while I only have a plain t-shirt and jeans. I felt Zion's hand wrapping to my waist so I met his gaze only to be surprised by his movements.
- He kissed me.
- "We'll order anything you like. As long as it makes you happy, I'll give it to you." He gave me a smile that can melt everyone by heart. Not everyone can see this side of him. The caring and soft type of Zion, especially when he was known as a ruthless businessman and a cold student.
- What he said popped out an idea inside of me. As soon as we arrived at our seat, we give our orders and when the waiter was nowhere to be seen, I stood up from my seat and sat on his lap instead. A wide grin broke over his lips and my lips found his earlobe.
- "Can I eat you later? I want to put pineapple juice all over you. Can I?"
