Chapter 16 Uninvited Visitors

• Sophia gazed out the window, watching the night sky covered by grey clouds. The walls of the mansion's fence came into view. Sophia liked the building; its design was grand and modern, complemented by the green touch of nature outside, making it a comfortable place to call home.
• However, Sophia didn’t want to consider it too much of a home because she knew that one day she would have to leave. She didn’t want to invest too deeply in a place only to be discarded later. Albert could decide to end their relationship next month, or even tomorrow, anytime. Sophia felt that she always had to be prepared.
