• Eduardo, who had been watching her from a distance, sprang into action. He raced to her and grabbed her arm, pulling her swiftly from the moving vehicle.
• His heart pounded in his chest, and his breathing was rapid. What was she thinking he thought as he looked at the vehicle which continued without a stop.
• As she gazed into his eyes, Tessa felt an inexplicable calm wash over her. She felt warmth in his arms, something she longed for. His touch and piercing gaze seemed familiar, yet she couldn’t quite place him.
