Chapter 40 No Reason

• Talia froze all over, and the tip of her nose felt sour all of a sudden. As long as there was a valid reason for her to go—even if she wouldn't have an official relationship with Jasper—she would still go with him without hesitation, but in fact, there wasn’t any. There was no reason to go with him at all.
• She took a deep breath before looking at him and smiled. "No."
• Jasper frowned at her for two seconds, then turned and walked away.
