• I had never been so excited for dinner in my life. Maybe that was why I wore a black dress that showed off my barely-there bump, my back, and my thighs. Wearing heels seemed too much so I settled for gorgeous sandals. I even put the stunning diamond earrings I found in the jewelry drawer. My braids needed to be retouched but besides that, I looked good. I rushed downstairs, the table already set up by me and Marcia. I hoped she would stick around for long because I was already attached to her in some way.
