Chapter 69

• Eleven thirty-four in the evening
• I spent most of my evening reading a book after I tucked the kids to sleep. Throughout the entire Sunday, it was lovely as soon as we left the hotel owned by Emery. The kids did not really see her after we left the penthouse and I guess it was better that way because I would not want her to lash out her anger at them. I knew that Kieran was still talking with her about their supposed trip together that he eventually had backed out and that he is probably convincing her about things regarding their relationship and so on.
