Chapter 25

• After dinner, Xander left the table as soon as possible. His parents and Becky were currently discussing the pregnancy. However, he couldn’t concentrate at all since there was another problem in his head.
• “Pick it up ... pick it up, Lisa!” He tried to reach Lisa but the call was always forwarded to the other number. He tried her other number as well, but it was still off.
• “Seriously, what happened to you?” Xander murmured. He clenched his teeth as he tried sending her some messages. No reply from her, though. She was indeed ignoring him intentionally.
