• Richard’s POV
• I managed a small smile upon seeing my dad come back to life, I walked into the room, my expression was heavy with fatigue, but I could spare a couple of minutes for him before I eventually passed out, “how are you feeling now dad?” my hands met his and rubbed them assuringly, our mum passed away when she gave birth to us, dad has been lonely since and he wasn't very lucky in love. But we were everything to him, his joy, his sadness, and the reason for his frustrations too.
• We had always wanted it to be just us, and anytime dad found a new girlfriend, it made us feel like we weren't enough for him. He introduced us to Bella’s mum, as his second chance mate, my brothers and i didnt even believe in this mate thing, we all saw it as folklore, and we definitely didn't believe it when he brought home another woman to be his wife.
