• Bella’s POV
• I opened my eyes and found myself in my old bed, my room exactly how I remembered it. Soft, warm light spilled through the window, and for a second, I felt safe. Then, the door creaked open, and there, m mother, smiling at me, her eyes gentle and filled with so much love i couldn't comprehend fully. But there was something sad in her face, like she knew something I didn’t.
• “Mum! You’re back!” I was so happy to see her again, I wanted to tell her everything. About how my new brothers have been nothing but hell, how they tormented me every single day and suppressed me so much that the fear choked me, “I don't like it here mum, I never wanted a new family, I just wanted us together.” I sobbed gently, and she could see my concern, she placed her hand on mine and squeezed it firmly in an assurance of bold love
