Chapter 11

• Lucien POV
• I finally got to the small town, located truly at the downtown area of New Jersey. Her scent is the only thing I could perceive and the one and only thing that brought me here. Strangely after declaring leader over the demons in me, none as ever disturbed me again, none of them is crying hunger anymore or trying to eat my heart out. Right now I knew they’re hungry but I want them to suffer for always eating my heart.
• I could hear the heart of all the people passing by me beating and calling for me to tamper with them, the beating sound calling me to rip it out and feed my demons, the sound changing the color of my pupil to a deep black.
