• Charles gave me an irritated look. “You can’t possibly be okay with this?”
• “No. I’m not,” I said. “But what they’re telling us makes sense, and no one here seems to be acting with any sort of spite. It seems like they’re doing what they can. At least, right now, I think the best thing that we can do is go along with what they’ve said. It’s not like they’re leaving us uncomfortable.”
