Chapter 60

• I’m not entirely sure if I’m ready to be so close to a pack of wolves but hey, I know it’s the best thing for mum right now. She needs the help and I’m too far gone to keep helping her to the toilet and doing the food shopping; my back isn’t handling this little tyke very well.
• “How are you feeling mum?” I ask, sipping at my freshly squeezed orange juice; heaven in a glass I assure you.
• “I’m ok dear, just tired. As usual. I could do with a nap soon.”
