Chapter 13

• The elevator tinged, and a woman came out of it. A man was standing outside the elevator. They glanced and passed by each other. Two people who be accomplices in the future just met for the first time.
• Veronica walked onto Damon’s floor. She stopped by the head secretary’s table. The man behind recognized her and greeted her politely.
• “I am here to deliver something to Damon. Aunt Amanda asked me to do so,” She said. Gabe, Damon’s head secretary, was quite reluctant. But knowing the relationship and Veronica’s connection to the Castellanos he let her in while giving a heads-up to Damon too.
