Chapter 87
- The following week Lana was caught up in meetings with the administrator of her mother’s estate. Linda Logan left her entire estate to her only daughter, including an insurance pay-out of close to twenty million. The lawyer advised her that the bulk of the money had been left by her father, but since her mother passed on it all belonged to her. There was a lot of paperwork to be done so Jordan had summoned Barry to help out with all the legal stuff. When they had wrapped up everything Jordan whisked her away to Seychelles for a much-needed vacation.
- They checked into a resort set on the west coast, on a secluded beachfront a few miles away from the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens and Marine National Park. The villa was on an over-water hillside over-water with a panoramic ocean view, a balcony, casual furnishings, and traditional artwork, plus flat-screen TVs and whirlpool tubs; a private pool and room service was available. Amenities included an infinity pool and sundeck, a steam room, a game room, and a yoga studio. There was also a spa, a restaurant, and a bar.
- “Did I say thank you for doing this?” Lana looped her arms around her husband’s neck, a look of contentment on her face.
