Chapter 20

• I cornered Hunter in the kitchen, where he was helping himself to another beer can. Natalie was dancing with Josh, while Xavier watched with dark eyes, strangling the can in his hand.
• Thank goodness it wasn't human. It would've been dead by now if it were.
• Whatever happened between them must be deep, because the tension between them is freaking real and it sometimes scared the shit out of me, especially when I'm around Xavier and Natalie was talking to another guy or even Josh.
