Chapter 45 Brianna- Chapt- Ten

• Brianna (POV)
• I went back to finish cooking, as Chase went back to petting Angel. “I am not comfortable with him somewhere out there.” I begin. As I was near the door behind Chase as he confronted Ben, I noticed his bag by the door. He came straight from the airport to make sure I was safe. That touched my heart. “Can you stay here for a few days?” I asked him. For some reason, I feel completely safe with Chase.
• He looked up at me as if I hadn’t needed to ask. “I was already planning on staying. I don’t trust that guy.”
