• I had resolved to leave Ash's house, to get out of his house, but then he caught me at the entrance. And I had no idea why. Perhaps everything was becoming too difficult for me. And I just had to let it out. And the fact that he was begging me with tears in his eyes, perhaps also unleashed something within me.
• For some time I had been so caught up with myself that I had no idea or I failed to see that perhaps what I was doing was hurting those around me. And when Jane spoke up, it was like the fucking dam had been released. I just could not hold the tears back anymore.
