• I felt the heaviness behind my eyes as I tried to open them. My throat felt like sandpaper. Taking a deep breath, I decided to blink my eyes open. My eyes shifted to every corner of the unfamiliar room. Why was I here?
• Just then, I heard the door being pushed open. Lukas walked in along with Yama. I winced trying to sit up right on the bed. He came by my side and helped by fluffing the pillows, setting them against my back.
