Chapter 27 The Guilty (1)
- The sterile, white walls of the hospital, devoid of any warmth or comfort, seemed to close in menacingly on Irook as he gingerly stepped out of the hospital bedroom. The door, with its soft click, closed behind him, sending a reverberation that echoed too loudly in the quiet, deserted corridor. It felt as if the very atmosphere was charged with oppressive silence, making the weight of the tie around his neck even more suffocating. Instictively, he reached up to loosen it, pulling the knot down with a shaky, uncertain hand. The worry etched deeply on Irook's face was unmistakable, his eyes reflecting a turbulent sea of fear, uncertainty, and an unspoken plea for solace.
- He took a seat beside Unwoo, the chair emitting a soft creak under his weight, as if in protest.
