Chapter 46 So Close

• Nick watched as the man and woman walked down the alley. He stared hard at the man's face. Even though it didn't look like Jon, and the hair color was wrong, he had a feeling it was him. He took a picture and sent it to the team chat.
• Within a few seconds, he received a response that they were on their way. Nick was to stay put near the door once the couple went inside. After he saw the door shut, he walked down the alley and stood off to the side. He listened for any screaming, and so far, he didn't hear anything. He figured the woman was okay for now.
• Dorian, Kyle, Teo, and Colby showed up less than thirty minutes after Nick messaged them. Luckily the location wasn't far from the hotel where Natalia and Hayden were staying. They met him in the alley with the van.
