Chapter 6

• Emily swung her gown behind her at every instance she got, her breathe taking steps and obviously angered face could not be ignored, while the maid tried to run behind and catch up with her full hasty steps.
• "Your highness, the worst is happening right this minute." This time, Emily couldn't afford to scream like she wanted to because the ceremony was still ongoing and she didn't want to draw attention.
• "What are you talking about, Emily?" Liam turned his head swiftly to look behind him as Emily was already towering over the edges of his chair and that of his parents.
• "Your highness I need to talk to you, in private now. This is a serious issue."
• The Alpha became concerned when Emily mentioned that, he watched her swell and boil from inside out while furiously taking the heavy weight of her gown behind her. The Alpha leaned closer to his son Liam and settled a long gaze on him. .
• "Father, let's just go and listen to her, maybe the matter is really an urgent one that can't obviously wait."
• With a persuasive thought, the Alpha stood up, followed by his Luna and Liam trailing behind them looking all dried up from sitting for too long, he should be grateful to Emily for rising with an opportunity for him to get his long sitted butt off the chair.
• "And what is this that cannot wait until after such an important ceremony that hosts the Lycan family pack, you know pretty well that this is the only way we can impress them and not incure their wrath upon us."
• Liam lashed out at Emily immediately they stepped into the empty room wear she had been pacing around with her nose and shoulder in the air.
• "Well, my prince you won't be needing to protect that reputation anymore, because someone obviously too stupid whom you employed her services in today's ceremony is helping you tarnish your image somewhere."
• "What is this you speak of young lady, make yourself clear and stop wasting our time." The Alpha became impatient as his feet was already hurting from being anxious.
• "My Alpha, it is the same girl. Chloe."
• "What about Chloe now! What about that girl that has refused me my own peace of mind." Liam shouted at the top of his voice in raged anger and face of frustration.
• "Calm down, son. You are only getting yourself worked all up for something that has no meaning, you should calm down and let's hear what Emily has to say before you begin the party spirit game, please be calm."
• Now for the first time since they stepped into the room, the Alpha's Luna and Liam's mother finally speaks up in her high pitched small voice that sounded like the drawing of swords into thick woods.
• "What is the matter with Chloe, please say something and stop all of these suspense it's getting on everyone and we have something important to attend to." The Alpha said this time from a calm voice of understanding.
• "Well, my Alpha I first looked around the place and noticed I couldn't find the trouble bag anywhere around us, when I asked the maid, she told me Chloe had excused herself to use the rest room although she was taking way too much time to return to her position. So, I decided to take a stroll and relieve myself, when I met the sight that clutched me in the hands of unending sounds of confusion and anger."
• Breathing hardly and swallowing multiple water that rose inside of her mouth, Emily swallowed a hard gulp and continued.
• "I saw Chloe with the Lycan prince, he was holding her hands and standing really close to her in a romanctic way______ I swear on my existence your highness I indeed saw all of this, you can ask the maid who was with me."
• "What nonsense is this. Guard!!!! I want you to find Chloe and drag her down to this place immediately, I don't want any excuses, drag her down here."
• Emily was already feeling the drums of victory following Liam's reaction to the news, she saw the angry faces of the Alpha and Luna too_____this gave her spirit some sort of joy and over ride excitement.
• Soon the two guards that were sent by the prince to get Chloe had returned with her after snatching her badly from the hands of the Lycan prince who followed them too and kept an eye although he returned to his sit as the area they took Chloe in was out of bounds to strangers.
• "Now you are going to tell me what you think of yourself to stand so close to the prince in that manner and where no one else was. What were you even thinking about in the first place, who brought you to this ceremony?"
• Liam's angry face along with the other faces in the room that scanned Chloe from head to toe made her drop her head to her feet staring at them as if help could emerge from them.
• "What were you doing outside with the Lycan prince?_____ anyway, that will be none of my business because after now, you will receive the punishment as due to you and that is a promise."
• Liam's hurting words continued loudly, taking it's every sound in Chloe's head and making her head spin badly.
• "I just wanted to go outside and use the rest room but I was cut in and cornered by the Lycan prince, I didn't go to him, he came to me and was questioning me on_______"
• Chloe didn't get a chance to complete her words as Liam cut in rudely and bringing a stop and fear to her already trembling legs.
• "Shut your mouth up right now."
• Liam took Chloe's hands and dragged her behind him, as he lead her out of the hall where they all stood, he kept on dragging her alongside, hurting her wrist badly, when Aiden noticed and immediately began following them closely, Liam took her outside the pack and finally throws her off balance in front of him.
• Liam's voice became raised now as he began spilling everything he could afford in his mouth to Chloe, she took his insult with pains and regrets in her eyes, how can she be so defensiveless she thought.
• "You went off from the position you were asked to stay in and began roaming the entire palace looking for whom would scream your cheap name, is this all what you always do? You render yourself so cheap and ready for whatever opportunity you have to take advantage of other people right?"
• Chloe couldn't help it anymore as soft tears began rolling slowly down her fat cheek, she wiped them off with the back of palms and refused to be intimidated.
• "I am not even surprised, your family is cheap and a sell out I'm not surprised you are_______"
• Chloe couldn't stand the insult he poured on her family, she didn't know when she wired a hard slap across Liam's face, causing him to stagger and silence fell across the room.
