Chapter 16

• “Stop,” Chloe cried as she ran across the field.
• Yet, she felt so may forces closing in on her. They didn’t want her to have a break, and they were doing all they could destroy her willpower. She tried to make them see reason that they were hurting her, but to no avail. All they craved to do was to burn her alive, and she wondered what she did to deserve this.
• Someone threw something at her, and it caught her gown. She was screaming now, trying unsuccessfully to get them to stop, but she couldn’t succeed.
