• After Angelica had revealed the truth to everybody, I watched Uncle Marc try to throw her out of the mansion. But even though I was still weighed down by the truth, he was wrong to think I would have allowed him to do that.
• The glare everybody gave me when I stood up against him; it was a wrong choice of mine. I'm sure he must have been suspecting now that something was wrong with the sudden change in my actions and the gaze that met his this time without going downcast.
