• It was late at night, and I was driving back to the mansion through the half-lit streets. I must admit I was quite surprised when Elena showed up. Things had gotten good, and somehow, I had found a way to let things slide with what she had done last time, and she also confessed to being on good terms with my relationship to her as friends.
• Now she was here in Las Vegas. I could remember she claimed to have gotten a job, something that made me happy; at least she had moved on and hoped for happiness.
