Chapter 128 Naga's Visit
- Tide tossed around in the pool and puffed off a sigh filled with lingering sadness. He knew that his time was close, Neptune called and so did Aquarial. He has missed home and with his Soulpearl fully recovered, there was nothing else keeping him from returning home only the thoughts of staying away from him again make his heart heavy and his breath quiver. The night air was crisp, and he could hear the quiet sound of water splashing with the constant flaps of his tail moving in the water. He looked up at the stars and saw them as if they were people staring back at him in sympathy. Matthew is here, and with Alexander who has fully reciprocated their love, so much of their lives are now linked. Whether here or under the Seven Seas, they will be a part of each other's lives, whatever goes on he could and would feel but why does he hate this so much? Why does it still hurt? Knowing now the things he knows, shouldn't this have served as a consolation? Then why do these tears flow down his face? Like he will be losing him all over again. He looked around for comfort that wasn't coming.
- This was all too much.
- A sudden rush of wind made the water rattle and his body stiffen. The sensation seemed to be coming closer and closer until he felt something cold against his back. It was a feathery touch but the sensation sent shivers up his spine and he turned quickly toward where it originated. His eyes widened at who he saw. A smile crept across his face, despite himself and his heart skipped several beats as he looked on until he fully appeared before him. His golden hair shone in the moonlight like liquid fire. He leaned closer to him, his arms wrapping around him, embracing him tightly, and all too sudden his sadness and ache melted away with his presence. Tide understood this feeling too well. The Elder was casting a soothing spell and by the Gods had he arrived just when he needed him the most.
