• After I was able to escape from Luka’s stronghold, I ran to my room to calm myself down. My heart was beating like a bitch from how close we were. It’s been a while since he held me like that and my stupid heart couldn’t take it. I got ready for class even though I knew I would be getting there late again. As I was having breakfast, the wannabe Luna, Mellissa walked into the dining area with a glare on her face, and that glare was directed at me.
• “Have you given Luka his meal?” She asked Mary. Mellissa was already parading herself as the new Luna of Moon Valley Pack both in the mansion and around the pack.
