Chapter 24 Distasteful

• Samantha, clad in a patient's gown, stood by the window with her hair loosely hanging down. The window was wide open, and her frail figure seemed to be teetering on the edge.
• Joseph quickly took two steps to reach the window, extending his arms and carrying Samantha down from the side of the window.
