Chapter 4 Stay Away 2
- His words were vulgar and he cornered me to the shelf.
- "Wanna be my girlfriend? I'll make some arrangements and I guarantee that you could be our school's post-graduate. How bout it?"
- To hell with it! I grabbed hold of a cactus by the window and hurled it towards his face!
- He shrieked and tilted his head to evade it, and I ran towards the door.
- However, I was too weak to run. After all the phantom did to my body, I was powerless and I toppled over next to the door. It gave the tutor the perfect opportunity to pounce on me.
- "You are a tutor!" I screamed.
- "So what? I can quit it anytime. I have money! How could I see you flaunting that body in front of me and do nothing? Pfft, I've never seen any girl with more seductive body than yours..."
- He was about to pounce on me and I was about to scream at the top of my lungs.
- But something eerie happened...
- He looked like a chicken waiting to be slaughtered, with his neck squeezed by an invisible hand. There were sunken finger prints on his neck and his face was turning into a dark purple. His eyes were bulging and he put his tongue out...
- I felt a cold shudder down my spine. Was it the phantom? He was by my side all this time?
- And... he was saving me?
- When I came back to my senses, I found the tutor slowly pulled to the back. He struggled to grab the invisible hand around his neck in desperation. But he couldn't failed again and again. All he did was scratching his own neck into a bloody pulp.
- I ran outside with all my might. Survival instinct kicked in and I didn't even use the elevator and ran down from the sixth floor.
- When I escaped the teaching building, I felt extremely cold, as if I were in an icehouse. When I was rubbing my arms under the sun, a few girls beside screamed.
- They were pointing at the teaching floor and yelled anxiously for help. I turned around and when I saw what happened, my body froze...
- A window from the 6th floor was shattered. The tutor was kneeling on the window with an odd posture.
- He back faced the outside and desperately clung on the window frame. However since the glass was shattered, the broken pieces of glass was stabbing on his palms and it was a bloody mess.
- Few seconds later, he seemed to be hurled back and he dropped down with his head on the ground.
- "AH!!!"
- The girls were screaming on top of their lungs and two of them even passed out.
- My body was shaking fiercely. It was done by him! It must be him!
- He murdered someone... He was really a demon!
- I was shaking like a leaf and hugged myself on the ground. All of a sudden, a familiar voice rang in my ear, "What are you crying for?"
- Cry? I wiped my face and realized I had been tearing in fear.
- "You... You're a demon! Evil ghost! You murderer! Don't you know a ghost that takes life will be dragged down to hell for punishment?" I muttered with a hoarse voice.
- He crossed his arms uncaringly and look down on me with his fearsome mask.
- "I set the rules. What more, I'm not an evil ghost."
- He seemed to be displeased and covered my face with his palm, "See for yourself what a real ghost looks like!"
- A ridiculously tall hat caught my attention. It was a sharp cone. When my gaze followed along, a dangerously pale face was smiling at me.
- "Hello there madam~ You better be careful... His majesty isn't a patient man." The pale face smiled at me and his wide, bright red lips were curling up in an abnormal curve.
- That is the White Earl! The accountant from the underworld!
- "AAAH!!!!" I screamed in terror and moved back frightfully!
- Can't the rest of the crowd see him?!
- "You... You're..." I turned my head to ask him.
- But he was gone.
- The white earl was holding a few ropes. He then noosed one over the soul of the tutor and mumbled slowly, "Sigh, No.8 isn't here to help out... I am just so busy..."
- I slapped my cheek for a few times to check if I was in a dream. No. It wasn't. All that happened wasn't a dream! There were ghosts in broad day light!
- The white earl had a hair-raising smile. His had a pair of sinister eyes, bright red lips as if he just drank blood and his tongue-tip was out on his chin.
- Who was he? If he's not an evil ghost, why wasn't he afraid of the white earl?
- I ran back home like a madman and locked myself in the room. I must clear things up and find out his identity!
- When it was midnight, he appeared in my room in time.
- He still wore the same, cold mask, and he was still as ruthless and straight-forward as ever.
- "What did that woman say today? Huh?" His tone was friendly, but his movements were merciless.
- "Big breast, tight butt and slim waist?" He repeated Su Meng's words.
- I could feel his irony and his movements never stopped. He did whatever he wanted and ignored my feelings.
- "You should learn to protect yourself. If you let another man touch you, I will make you live in agony the rest of your life." He warned me indifferently.
- I gritted my teeth and endured his fiercest impacts. After that, I asked with a trembling voice, "Who... who are you? Even if you're taking my life, you should at least tell me that."
- "Tell you what?" He sneered, "And here I thought the Guan family was doing business about the netherworld. Why would they have an ignorant daughter like you?"
- "Yeah..." I smiled bitterly, "I don't know anything. From the moment I was born, I was given as an offering to you! How can I know my destiny should be making love with a ghost..."
- Make...love?
- Could that be considered lovemaking? Pain and bruises, blood and humiliation... Was that love?
- I bit my lips and didn't know how to continue.
- He slowed down a little. With his cold fingers he curled the hairs on my side, "You only need to remember, that you are my wedded wife and you can only follow me until your death. That's all..."
- Until death...
- Death.
- After the session finished, he didn't disappear right away but pointed his finger at the blood jade ring I wore around the neck.
- "Although this color looks nice bouncing on your chest, but I hope you would wear it obediently on your finger... Don't make me repeat this again."
