Chapter 31 Traumatized

• Just as tension filled the air, a voice suddenly echoed through the hallway, breaking the silence. It was a relief to hear something that interrupted the impending disaster.
• "Mr. Damien," Senator Juan stuttered from the far end of the hallway. And behind him is a group of people that I am sure were curious to see what was going on.
• Ignoring Senator Juan, Damien looked beside him. He gave the men in black attire a close look before I noticed an indistinct frown suddenly settled on his face. "Hmm... You came with them?" His lips stretched into a thin line. He then glanced at Alexander before looking at me. I couldn't help but feel a surge of curiosity and apprehension. Damien's reaction to the men in black attire was questionable. His frown seemed to suggest that he wasn't pleased with their presence.
