• After making dinner, she sat back in the sitting room to wait for Shawn. He had earlier texted her that he will be stopping by to check on his friend that was sick. She watched her favorite reality show while occasionally glancing at the wall clock. She became worried when it was past 8:00 in the night and he was not yet back.
• She tried calling but was directed to his voicemail, so she dropped tons of messages. He didn't want to look paranoid so she patiently waited.
