• After he closed from work, he stopped at a supermarket to get fruits for Rachel. He didn't know much about tending to a sick person, but he knew fruits were good for one's health.
• He purchased the fruits and drove to her house. Arriving at the gate, he honked and the gateman opened it for him to drive in. He alighted from the car and, after replying to the gateman's greeting, walked inside. He had been to her house a couple of times, so he knew his way around.
