Chapter 43

• Zach walked in, closing the door behind him. He was dressed in a suit and had a black suitcase in his hand. "And what is the noise about? I heard you two shouting from outside." He paused to look at both of us. He then dropped his briefcase on the chair right in front of him. Brenda stood up from where she sat and went ahead to hug him. She gave him a soft, lingering kiss on the lips too, which he did back to her, but on the forehead.
• Aww, sweet love, I thought. They had this type of love and yet, they wanted me to just be with their son for show. I shook my head at them.
• I was about to leave them in the sitting room and walk in when Zach called me back.
