• "Claire? where are you?" he sounded urgent as he demanded my answer from the other line.
• "My...room..." my voice was small, I was struggling with my fever, I was shivering to the bones.
• He hangs up and moments later, I could hear my door was knocked. I tried to get up and finally managed to get to the door after a couple of tries. I was wearing my thickest pajamas, socks, and winter jacket but I was still shivering.
