Chapter 24 Brandon

• It was just after dinner, we were saying goodbyes. I've said my goodbye to mom and dad already, we had a long talk where they were genuinely cared for and listened to my stories. They had promised to visit me at campus next month, and I left them with a warm hug.
• But I was still in the parking area where David insisted that I ride back with him, but I was not feeling it. I told him that I was driving my car to my parent's, then he told me that his driver could drive back my car but I was stubbornly refusing his offer.
• And being David, he didn't push through. But his eyes wondered to mine, silently searching for answers.
