Chapter 7

  • Keelan continued watching his friend, trying to read him like always, but he knew it was only a waste of time and effort. His friend was a stubborn man with stone-cold stolid features. A man who never showed emotions. His friend was someone who if anyone attempted to read or predict his actions, they would only run mad with gazillion questions running through their minds about this indecipherable man.
  • But as for Keelan, trying to understand his friend was like a recipe for an impending migraine and he couldn't afford the luxury of one right at the moment so he tried to change the subject.
  • "Mom and Dad send their greetings," he tried again but was still met with the same detached and abstracted "hmm. . ." from his friend.
