Chapter 28 The Bracelet
- Raiden glanced at the phone and commented, "I'm not sure."
- Kevin pointed at the bracelet and said, "But this bracelet… Isn't it the one you gave Lola when we were kids?"
- He had known Raiden since childhood and was also familiar with Lola. At that time, Raiden was cold and distant due to his mother's passing, preferring to be alone. The only person who enjoyed keeping him company quietly was Lola. Back then, Kevin was young and didn't fully understand the concept of life and death. He was still in his mischievous phase and talked without thinking. When he noticed Lola was always by Raiden's side, he and his friends would make fun of her, saying that Lola would grow up to be Raiden's bride. However, he didn't know the meaning of his words; he was influenced by watching TV dramas. Lola was a shy girl, so even though she didn't fully understand what they meant, she knew it didn't mean good. And so, she became upset and cried. For the first time in his life, Kevin received a thorough beating from Raiden. From then on, Kevin became more well-behaved and even developed some admiration for strength, thanks to this experience. He started to imitate Lola by sticking around Raiden. That was why he remembered that this bracelet was a birthday gift given to Lola by Raiden.
