Chapter 2 Go To Hell

  • As the thick smoke dissipated, everyone could see the newcomer clearly. They felt as if they were staring at the face of a demon, or perhaps even death itself.
  • “B-Bloodshade.”
  • The she-wolf slowly lifted her face, her bloodthirsty eyes fixed on the terrified individuals in the control room who dared not move. Her fur was splayed out, and her gaze was as cold as ice.
  • She was the infamous Bloodshade they spoke of with fear, a bloodthirsty warrior who dominated the entire werewolf world. Even the warrior wolves and the Alphas of smaller packs trembled at the mention of her name.
  • Bloodshade casually lifted her arm, discarding the item in her hand as if it were mere trash.
  • When everyone finally made out what was rolling on the ground, they were all petrified. It was Rufus' head.
  • It had been brutally severed. Wherever it rolled, a trail of blood followed. There was a look of horror in his eyes that were wide open. This scene brought an overwhelming sense of suffocation to everyone present.
  • Startled back to reality, the Beta shakily produced a black detonator, threatening, “Bloodshade, we've implanted a chip in your brain. The moment I trigger this, you'll be reduced to ashes within thirty seconds. I'd advise against any rash actions.”
  • The chilling voice of Bloodshade slowly echoed. “Thirty seconds is more than enough time to take down a few of you.”
  • “We are just following orders. It was the Alpha who commanded us to do this. If you want to kill someone, it should be the Alpha!” Seeing that Bloodshade was fearless, everyone immediately begged for mercy, “Please, let us go.”
  • The Alpha?
  • Bloodshade let out a laugh. Her eyes, full of hatred and bloodlust, also held a trace of mockery.
  • The Alpha of the Shadow Pack oversaw the largest and most powerful werewolf pack in the world. The majority of the werewolves within the pack were warrior wolves, specializing in assassination tasks.
  • He cultivated one bloodthirsty warrior after another through his merciless training methods, employing them to hunt down those werewolves or packs who refused to submit to him.
  • And she, Bloodshade, was one of them.
  • Unlike other werewolves, she was born an orphan without a pack. She was a Rogue. The Alpha of the Shadow Pack took her in, raising her within his own pack. From her early pup days, he trained her, molding her into the youngest yet most talented warrior within the entire Shadow Pack.
  • After thirteen years of relentless training, she embarked on one extreme assassination mission after another when she was just fourteen.
  • At seventeen, she awakened her inner wolf, Vali. Together, they managed to firmly secure the top spot in the werewolf world's list of bloodthirsty warriors, a position that remained unchallenged.
  • Throughout the years, she had set countless unbreakable records, establishing herself with numerous formidable identities. She had become an incredibly fearsome figure in the entire Shadow Pack, extending even to the whole world of werewolves.
  • Even the retired warriors from the Shadow Pack were no match for her, and her talents were met with envy.
  • Her strength instilled a sense of wariness in the Alpha toward her.
  • The Alpha began to fear her power, worried that she would one day usurp his position as the Alpha and take over as the next leader. This fear led to her untimely demise.
  • The Alpha desired to extract her genes to clone another, or even countless warriors as formidable as her, to take her place and serve the Shadow Pack.
  • She wasn't here under duress, but of her own free will.
  • Simply out of gratitude for the care she had received from the Shadow Pack over the years, she was willing to offer a portion of her own genes to strengthen the Shadow Pack.
  • Unexpectedly, they planned to extract all her genes and clone an exact replica of her. Moreover, they intended to eliminate her after using her, a clear display of betrayal.
  • Bloodshade couldn't help but shake her head.
  • Despite her strength and capability to establish her own pack, and her wealth and power, her loyalty to the Shadow Pack was undeniable, a fact Moon Goddess could attest to.
  • Unfortunately, her terrifying rate of growth still sparked the Alpha's desire to destroy her.
  • With these thoughts in mind, Bloodshade laughed at herself.
  • From her childhood, the Alpha had always warned her that as a bloodthirsty warrior within the pack, she couldn't afford to have feelings or show mercy. Little did she know the only time she had shown mercy was toward the Alpha himself. Yet, in a cruel twist of fate, she was to meet her end at the hands of the very Alpha she had trusted.
  • While Bloodshade was distracted, the Beta seized the opportunity. Quietly, he pressed the detonator in his hand, then began to retreat.
  • Bloodshade noticed his move and with just one glance, she managed to throw him into complete disarray.
  • Bloodshade didn't make a move. Under the astonished gazes of everyone, she, too, pulled out a detonator.
  • “Do you recognize this detonator? Rufus told me that you've buried a hundred pounds of TNT explosives in the lab. Let's go to hell together.”
  • The voice of Bloodshade was chillingly cold.
  • Under the gaze of numerous terrified eyes, she pressed the detonator.
  • The Beta deeply regretted not having eliminated her from the very beginning. He was obsessively clinging to the illusion that he could capture her and continue to extract all her genes.
  • With a deafening explosion, flames soared into the sky. The island, brimming with wickedness, sunk into the ocean depths, taking with it a lifetime of countless glories and the youthful figure known as Bloodshade.
