• I watched everyone train from afar. It’s a miracle Katarina never reprimanded me for my absence. She never looked for me either. I have a feeling that it’s because my relationship with their Alpha improved. Their stares that were filled with detest had changed into that of respect.
• Caleb’s words echoed in my mind. Maybe the Alpha really was accepting me as his mate. I’m not sure what to feel about that. He used to hate my guts and now, everything turned to 180. And I couldn’t help but feel the butterflies in my stomach fluttering. I’ve never been adored by a man like that.
