Chapter 97
- After their happy meal, the pups didn't take long to fall asleep. They had dosed off in the most adorable position. In the small living room I had lay down a mat so that they may play on it while I did the dishes, when I came back I found them fast asleep holding each other's hands. So adorable. But I had to put them to bed. When I did, I went back to the living room and sat with a cup of tea in my hands.
- It wasn't dark out yet, we still had rays of sun before they disappeared. Sitting here gave me a lot of time to think, like most of the nights. Sometimes I even wished that my pups were the kind to keep you up at night since I was already failing to sleep three of five nights.
- This place felt lonely, but wasn't that what I was despite having the company of my two pups. I was a lonely woman abandoned by her husband to be with his ex-lover.
