Chapter 32

• "Are you okay?" Lucas turned to me and observed my state with his gaze. I nodded and swallowed harshly. The tension I felt slowly went away. I exhaled loudly.
• "You're hurt, come on, let's treat your wound." Lucas touched my neck, and I felt a sting in the area of his touch. I shuddered at the pain I felt; Lucas' fingertips looked red from my blood. I hadn't even noticed the pain before after the tension left.
• I followed Lucas to my room; then, he helped me treat this wound on my neck.
