Chapter 614

• A push against my shoulder wakes me and it takes me a second to figure out where I am. Then I recall the events from last night and a smile spreads across my face.
• “James.” A soft voice next to me whispers. With a jolt I sit up and look at Maggie. “What is it, Maggie?” I ask her, she holds out a phone to me and says it is Mason.
• I can tell the phone isn’t mine and for a second I look confused. “It’s Dagmar’s and I didn’t know if it was wise to wake her.” She says softly. I take the phone from her hand and ask Mason why he called.
