As we walk out of the library Kanoa links me, “Conan and I will take care of the diner today. You enjoy some alone time with your Mate.” He closes the link before I can respond and Mano asks me what is going on. I tell him about Conan and Kanoa, why they joined our Pack and that they took care of the diner the first week he was here.
“Kanoa just linked me to inform me that he and Conan are taking care of the diner today and that I should enjoy some alone time with my Mate.” The moment those words leave my mouth I get picked up by Mano and he takes the stairs up to our Quarters two at the time, apparently not willing to waste any alone time with me.
