• When Beta Ben said about the fever, I thought it was just a high temperature and cold sweat. But it wasn't at all what I had imagined. I couldn't close my eyes for a moment that night. I covered my ears with a pillow, but I could still hear Ace's cries of pain. And my wolf was dying in agony.
