Chapter 25 Motionless

• I woke up in Alpha Jared's arms. I have no idea what was in my head last night, but we did it. It was the first time in my life. Making love to a man who was the same age as my father was something I never thought was possible. But I found comfort in his figure, no matter how far apart in age we were. I felt safe with him, even when I was sleeping with him.
• "You woke up first," Alpha Jared joked.
• I was too focused on what was happening to notice that Alpha Jared was up, too. "Am I bothering you?" I asked, tugging at the corners of my lips.
