Chapter 31 Lifeless

• While staring at his wife's bleeding head, Drew's body was trembling, and his jaw was clenching. While he was downstairs, he heard the two men mention his mother. He could hear it because Jericho and Kenneth were shouting at each other.
• As though life had somehow departed Lily's body, it was unresponsive. He is to blame because he left his wife at the gathering. His chest constricted at the sight before he attacked Jericho.
• While the arresting officer was handcuffing him, Drew shoved him, and said, "What did you do?!"
