Chapter 29 Ch Twenty Nine

• With a frightened heart, disorientation and confusion, Zoe stood up momentarily as soon as Gary told her what was going on at the hospital with her grandmother. A profound sense of helplessness gnawed at her insides instantly, as she tried to contain the bad news that had hit her about her only family, just after barely surviving a night before.
• "How many minutes will it take the chauffeur to be here?" She asked Gary in agitation, as she grabbed the almost empty luxurious purse that she had come with that morning.
• "Twenty minutes at most," he answered.
