- Trenton realized that he had walked into a trap, but it was too late. When he and his men turned to return to the research site, they found the entrance abruptly locked. Worst of all, their electronic devices, even their torches, were affected by magnetic disturbance. They were engulfed in pitch blackness, and the stones all around them kept shifting. Every so often Trenton would also hear the chilling screams of his men as they were crushed by the shifting stones or wounded by the concealed weapons.
