• "Can you stop holding on to me? This is so embarrassing," Noah complained as he tried to pull his arm out of Dylan's tight grip. But the latter refused to let go, instead pleading, "No way! The crazy woman is still here. I'm scared." He looked at Elise with a fearful expression as he spoke.
• "Why did you agree to come here if you are so afraid?" Noah hissed. He shoved his friend aside to get a better view of the situation. Unfortunately, the market was buzzing with crowds. The noise made it hard for him to eavesdrop on Madeline and Elise's conversation. As a result, he was even more annoyed at Dylan's cowardice.
